Account deletion

You can delete your account.

Fastest: delete inside the app

Sign in, open Collection → Settings, then choose Delete Mashr account. Confirming deletes the shared sign-in and associated Rock Hound, Valuer and Classifier records, including specimen photos, notes and saved locations.

If you cannot use the app

Send a deletion request from the email address associated with your account. We will use the minimum information needed to verify ownership and normally complete a verified request within 30 days.

What may remain temporarily

Operational logs generally age out within 30 days and deleted database records may remain in encrypted point-in-time backups for up to 35 days. Limited records may be retained longer only when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention or law.
